Your Two Weeks in Paradise: Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Karibu! Welcome to Zanzibar
Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ), you'll be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your stunning beach resort. Check in, breathe in the fresh ocean air, and let the island rhythm begin.
Day 2: Beach Bliss & Relaxation
A day of pure leisure. Sink your toes in the powder-white sand, swim in the warm, turquoise Indian Ocean, or simply relax by the pool with a cocktail in hand. You've earned it.
Day 3: Magical Sunset Dhow Cruise
Enjoy a lazy morning and afternoon at your resort. In the late afternoon, you'll be collected for a magical experience. Sail along the coastline on a traditional Dhow boat, watching as the sky transforms into a spectacular canvas of orange and pink at sunset.
Day 4: Leisure & Local Discovery
Another day at your own pace. Perhaps explore the local village near your resort, browse for colourful crafts, or try some of the resort's complimentary non-motorised water sports.
Day 5: The Safari Blue Adventure
Prepare for a full-day excursion that is a true Zanzibar highlight. On the Safari Blue trip, you'll sail on a traditional Dhow to pristine sandbanks for sunbathing, snorkel in a protected marine park teeming with fish, swim in a mystical mangrove lagoon, and feast on a delicious fresh seafood barbecue lunch.
Day 6-7: Ultimate Relaxation
Two full days to completely unwind and embrace paradise. Read that book you've been meaning to finish, indulge in a spa treatment, or simply do nothing at all. This is your time to recharge your batteries.
Day 8: Jozani Forest & Friendly Monkeys
Today you'll journey to the lush interior to visit Jozani Forest, the last indigenous forest on the island. Here you'll see the rare and incredibly friendly Red Colobus Monkeys, found nowhere else in the world. A walk along the mangrove boardwalk offers another glimpse into the island's unique ecosystem.
Day 9: Spices and History
Engage your senses on a fascinating Spice Farm tour. You'll smell, touch, and taste a variety of spices, fruits, and herbs while learning why Zanzibar is famously called the "Spice Island." Afterwards, you will be guided through the labyrinthine alleys of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, discovering its rich and complex history.
Day 10: Stone Town Shopping or Sun Soaking
A free day to plan as you wish. You might choose to return to Stone Town for some excellent souvenir shopping at your own pace, or you may prefer to head back to the beach resort to relax by the sea. The choice is yours!
Day 11: Prison Island's Gentle Giants
Take a short boat trip from the coast to Prison Island (Changuu). The island is famous for its sanctuary of giant Aldabra tortoises, some of which are over 150 years old. You can feed these gentle giants before learning about the island's history and enjoying some excellent snorkeling in the clear waters offshore.
Day 12-13: Last Days in Paradise
Your final two full days to soak up the glorious sun and idyllic atmosphere. This is the perfect time for an optional trip you've been considering, like a visit to the famous Rock Restaurant, or to simply savour the magnificent beachfront location of your resort.
Day 14: Farewell Feast
Enjoy your last full day on the island, making every moment count. In the evening, you will be treated to a special farewell dinner featuring authentic and delicious Swahili flavours to celebrate your incredible two-week journey.
Day 15: Kwaheri! (Goodbye)
After a final breakfast and with memories to last a lifetime, you will be transferred to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) for your flight home.
